Sample Perishable Listing

- Date - These are the Friday dates when your items will be ready. All items have a limited number each week and if crossed out then the item is sold out for that week.
- Delivery or Pick Up - This is where you select if you need delivery or if you are picking up. You will still need to select them again when checking out.
- Day - This is where you choose which day you need delivery or which day you are picking up.

Deliveries will only be made to residential addresses. Please do not place orders for deliveries to places of employment. Your order will be canceled.
When are items delivered?
- Any orders that contain perishable items will be delivered on Friday or Saturday, depending on the day you choose when ordering. Some weeks might have Thursday deliveries instead of Friday. There is no set time for deliveries, and we cannot accommodate delivering at a set time.
- If your order does NOT have any perishable items it can be delivered at anytime. However, depending on scheduling it may be delivered on Friday or Saturday, along with other orders.
What items can be delivered?
- All items that are available to purchase, are available to be delivered.
What is the delivery zone?
- The delivery zone is 15 miles from the pick up location in Valley Park, MO.
What are the delivery rates?
- Up to 2 miles away is $3 with no minimum order requirement.
- 2 to 5 miles away is $4 with a minimum purchase of $10+.
- 5 to 10 miles away is $5 with a minimum purchase of $12+.
- 10 to 15 miles away is $6 with a minimum purchase of $15+.
Do I need to be home for deliveries?
- No, you don't need to be home for deliveries. ALL weekday deliveries are straight drop off deliveries; meaning the person dropping off will not knock/ring the doorbell.
- If you want your items handed directly to you, you will need to have your items delivered on Saturday. We cannot give you a specific drop off time though.
How do I specify what day I want my items delivered?
- For Perishables - There will be a drop down bar on the item listing where you will need to select either Friday or Saturday. If you are ordering multiple items please make sure all items have the same drop off day.
- For Non Perishables - During check out, there is a spot for delivery instructions. There you can type in a requested day for delivery. We cannot guarantee any day outside of Friday and Saturday. If you leave it blank your order will automatically be delivered at our convenience, but not later than the following Friday.
What if weather prevents perishable pickup or delivery?
- In the event that weather may prevent pickups or deliveries I will contact all customers to ask how they would like to proceed. I will contact you PRIOR to baking your items to ensure they can easily be cancelled if need be.
What if I need to cancel my perishable items?
- The cutoff for cancelling orders is the Wednesday directly prior to your delivery/pickup date at 9 am. Please understand I cannot refund after that time frame.
What is the process for porch drop off deliveries?
- My husband and I will be making all deliveries. At each drop off where we are not making contact with the customer we will take a photo of the bag on your porch. This is just to resolve any disputes that may arise. These photos will never be shared and are deleted a week later.
How do I have my orders from The Koze Pantry and The Pineapple Workshop delivered together?
- You will need to order from BOTH small businesses within 2 days of each other to have this be an option. Any orders placed with The Pineapple Workshop will not count towards the delivery minimums. You will select delivery when checking out on this website. You cannot ask for delivery from The Pineapple Workshop. You will also need to inform both businesses that you placed an order with both of us. This can extend fulfillment times.
How do I have my orders from The Koze Pantry and The Pineapple Workshop picked up together?
- You will need to order from BOTH small businesses within 2 days of each other to have this be an option. You will need to inform us at ordering that you intend to order from both businesses and which location you would like to pick up at. This can extend fulfillment times.
